Talea Beer Co - West Village: Craft Beer Bar & Cocktail Haven in NYC

Had our pizza from next door at the brewery and had a full sweater weather flight + 1! Nice place! Female owned brewery. Some pretty interesting fall beer flavors

A few friends suggested I stop by this woman owned brewery, and since I am a big fan of supporting local breweries, I had to check it out. It is also conveniently located right down the street from the Beer Garage, which made it an easy stop as I had a quick beer there first. As soon as I walked in, there was no open seating, so I ended up standing at the bar. That part was not ideal, especially since I only planned to have one beer. I ordered a Fresh Coast IPA, and it was excellent. The place was packed and pretty loud, but it was clear this brewery was doing something right. While I stood there enjoying my beer, more people came in and did the same thing, which was actually nice to see. I would definitely go back to try some of their other beers and hopefully grab a seat to check out the food, because everything that passed by looked great.

Talea Beer Co. in the West Village is an excellent find. Their craft beers are fantastic—great quality and a solid variety. The cocktails, though, really stood out—they were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The crowd was young, relaxed, and well-behaved, which made for an easygoing vibe. While the food menu is limited, what they do offer is decent—and the best part is you can bring in food from outside. There’s even a pizza joint right next door, which works perfectly. All in all, Talea is a great spot for drinks, good company, and a laid-back evening in one of the city’s best neighborhoods.

Great female owned brewery. Amazing ambience inside, chill generous staff, and great beer! Got the sour & fruity flight and loved all of them especially the key lime! A nice stop before heading to L’industrie. I sat outside with company, kept tabs on the pizza line and got in once it seemed shorter!

Decided to come in here to have a beer while we waited for our pizza next door, and it was such a beautiful and fun environment that we stayed for a few more even after we picked it up. It seemed pretty common from other patrons too, so it was very welcoming and I really liked the way the two businesses supported each other. The staff was extremely friendly, and the beer was so good! We had some cocktails as well and they were very well made. Would definitely recommend!

This is a great, women owned bar. It's swanky, has awesome vibes, and you can grab pizza next door from LIndustrie to enjoy here. When we went there was a trivia night going on, which was a blast. Wish they had a few more IPA options, but all in all wonderful experience!

What a fantastic place! My husband loves Talea beers, and we were overjoyed to see the taproom blow us away!! Everyone working was kind and enjoyable, in a way that felt comfortable. The entire space was incredibly thoughtful, and finally, the main event, delicious beer. So excited to support a women-owned brewery!!

Laney, welcoming and attentive, took good care of me. Tasty olive, cheese and almond snack. Mild(ish) and tasty 2x IPA, wish I could have had two! Friendly, fun, inviting, inexpensive and chill atmosphere at this Village outpost of the Brooklyn based brewery. My kids tell me it's a great spot to order a pizza and not have to stand outside waiting.
